Digital Media Team provided social media management and paid social services in order to help the client generate more leads for Mercedes-Benz test drives.
There were Facebook pages set up for each LSH Auto branch. Before we approached the client, the social media content was based on suggestions from Mercedes-Benz, and was quite generic. It was also proving to be a lot of time and effort for the LSH staff, who have their own day to day roles to focus on in addition to monitoring social media and promoting the business via marketing.
In addition to improving the social media content itself, the client also wished to increase inbound enquiries, increase footfall to the sites, generate test drives and, ultimately, sell cars.
We focused our social media marketing across three aspects – brand awareness, content and lead generation. Our brand awareness campaigns helped refresh the two Facebook pages, opening up the brand to a new audience. Within a week we had: Increased the Macclesfield Facebook page likes by over 3,000%; put our social media adverts in front of an audience of over 120,000 users; increased the Birmingham Facebook page likes by over 2,500% and grown engagement levels. We went on to generate an average of 160 leads per branch per month with a 40% conversion rate.
