The Work Stuff 📈
Tell us about your background. What led you to DMT?
I have wanted to be in the creative and business industry for as long as I can remember, particularly in fashion. I got a job in a small business the week after I was old enough and have worked within this realm ever since, falling in love with makeup along the way. I worked as a solo marketing apprentice, doing every aspect of marketing for a Logistics company which led to becoming an account manager. Although I loved what I did, the sector wasn’t where my passion was, and I left to pursue my dream career as a full-time Makeup Artist, then lockdown hit. I decided that doing my hobby as my job wasn’t for me, and I missed the marketing world. That lands me here at DMT, which I love. I get to do bits of everything I love all at once and work with brands I secretly fangirl over!
What is something unique that you think you bring to the role?
I am very passionate and a massive fashion, beauty and social media nerd. I have a natural ability to put myself in other people’s shoes (I actually find it a bit creepy when I overthink about it). It makes me very empathetic and means I can understand and figure out customer journeys and behaviours.
What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?
I’m shy, please come say hi …. and if you’re wanting to go for food I am always down.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Extra, supportive and busy!
What’s your favourite cultural moment from the last year and why?
#FreeBritney – It just needed to happen. I found it interesting to learn about the situation, especially how the American legal system works and the power/money dynamics. Also, the fact that she is now free makes me happy.
What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work?
Makeup, fashion, cooking and would it be too cringe to say my Instagram?
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Eating out (my favs – Steak, Chinese, Italian or a good pub grub!). Cauliflower cheese must be one of the best combinations ever made!

I don’t really drink so I haven’t been out to many places in Manchester but love the Menagerie.
If you were a social media platform, which one would you be and why?
Either Instagram or Pinterest, because it’s life through pictures/videos. The possibilities are endless.
Who would be your five dream dinner party guests, dead or alive?
Molly Mae, Micheal B Jordan, Kris Jenner, Will Ferrell & Tupac.
